From executioner to savior: this is the radical change of a man, who will tell his story to the country on Rai 3 tomorrow evening. His name is Massimo Manni and for some time he has decided, to put it in his own words, to go the other way. For too long he had to look at the inhuman way in which the animals that came and were slaughtered suffered, until he could no longer resist and decided to stand up in their defense. These are lambs, calves and all small animals that, shortly after they came into the world, are already killed in the name of an industry that is far too developed today.

So Manni has decided not only to stop his breeder activity, but he wanted to do something more by starting to save these animals, going precisely on their side. But we will be able to hear better his point of view directly on TV, where he will explain and tell about his new refuge, which for many specimens represents a rescue net. He set it up thinking of all those mothers who see their calves slaughtered in a few months, thinking of all those animals who lose their relatives and do not even have the right to reply since they are not endowed with words.

604/5000Thus was born the refuge “Capra free all” which now houses over 200 animals, all saved from death row. Certainly from a greater satisfaction than the previous activity, even if perhaps the profits are not comparable: but there is nothing more gratifying than having revolutionized one’s thinking, of having acted against the current to do good, even at cost to get lost in economic terms. Here is how what was once a livestock breeder today has become a loving breeder of animals that can live free and in harmony with nature.
